DUDLEY -- Joan B. (Senckowski) Ziemba, 81, of Southbridge Road, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 5, in Saint Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill. Her husband, Edward A. Ziemba, died April 10.

GREENFIELD -- John R. Bitzer, 83, a resident of Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility, died Friday (9/07/2007) at the facility. Born April 20, 1924 in Montague, John was the son of Robert and Florence (Johnson) Bitzer.

Tompkins, 64, of 8 Riverside Drive, Greenfield, who died on Aug. 31 at home, will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, with military honors to be observed.
