Fernald E. Boudria


Fernald E. Boudria, age 72, of Read St. Somerset, died Sept. 10 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Beloved Companion of 30 years: Polly Aubrey of Somerset. Born in Freetown, son of the late Dom-inique & Jeannette (Gaboriau) Boudria. He was a resident of Somerset for 3 years & Frost Proof, FL, previously of Swansea & Fall River. Before retiring, he had worked for 33 years as a Paint Foreman at Larson Tool & Stamping Co. of Attleboro. He was a member of Notre Dame Church, the East End Sportsmen’s Club for 30 years & a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the former Vice-President of the Attleboro Foreman’s Association, an avid golfer, fisherman, horseshoe, card, & billiards player. He was also a Connoisseur of fine Ales. 
Besides his Companion of Somerset, he is survived by his former wife: Alice (Leite) St. Laurent of Fall River; 3 Children: Fernald Boudria Jr. of Marion, Daniel Boudria of Wrentham, & Deborah Boudria of Fall River. 2 Step-children: David “Buddy” Aubry of Somerset & Mickey Carey of Brockton. 3 Brothers: Royal Boudria of Fall River, Theodore Boudria of Westport, & Cornel Boudria of Dartmouth, 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews. 
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA, Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours Wednesday 4-8 P.M. Kalil Kalil

Kalil S. “Charles”, “KK” Kalil, 87, of Sherman St., Fall River, husband of the late Jeannette L. “Jean” (Patenaude) Kalil, died Monday, September 10, 2007.
A self-made, successful entrepreneur, and a benefactor, mentor, role model and inspiration to many, he was the founder of Kalco Sales and Kalil Real Estate.
He was an Elder of Calvary United Presbyterian Church, a 
charter member of the Exchange Club, a member of the Board of Directors of Lafayette Federal Savings Bank, a 32nd. Degree Mason and a former member of the YMCA.
Survivors include 3 children, Charlene J. Khoury and her husband Thomas of Fall River, Jean H. Saber and her husband Mark of Coconut Creek, FL and Charles D. Kalil and his wife Phyllis of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Adam, Leeza, Jahnna and Giulia Khoury, Jillian and Alexander Saber and Corey James Kalil; a sister Jessie Monis of Golden, CO and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Shaheen and Julia (Daghir) Kalil and the brother of the late Shahla Assad, Linda Thomas, Helen Massoud.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service in Calvary United Presbyterian Church, 216 Harrison St., at 10:00 AM. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery.

Alice Soares

Alice (Couto) Soares, 97, of Fall River, formerly of Birch St., died Sunday. Widow of Antonio Soares, born in Santo Antonio Alem Capelas, St. Michael, Azores daughter of the late Jose Couto Cabral and Maria do Carmo Soares. Survivors include sons, Gilberto C. Soares & Antonio L. Soares of Fall River, & Jose Soares of Montreal, Canada, daughters, Maria do Carmo Soares of St. Michael, Azores, Eduarda Miguel & Maria Cabral of Fall River, sisters Cecilia Aguiar of Fall River, & the late Amelia do Couto, 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren & many nieces and nephews. Ronald Rego

TIVERTON, R.I.- Ronald P. Rego, 60, of Tiverton, formerly of Little Compton passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Cynthia A. (Manchester) Rego, also formerly of Little Compton.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph S. Rego, Sr. and the late Georgianna (Elshant) Rego, he had lived in Tiverton for the past 30 years. Mr. Rego worked for the Local 4 Operating Engineers Union of Boston doing environmental cleanups. He enjoyed working on computers and was a Ham Radio Operator using the call sign N1QLZ. He had a pet cat named Pink Rego and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Including his wife, he is survived by 4 sisters: Mary Benson of Millis, MA, Agnes Braz of Tiverton, Georgianna Souza of Stewart, FL and Natalie Darling of Little Compton; 3 brothers: Joseph Rego of FL, Franklin Rego of Little Compton and Robert Rego of Tiverton; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rego was brother of the late Lydia C. Rego and Louise Almeida.

(Dionne) Paquette, 92, of Bark St., Swansea, formerly of Kaufman Rd., Tiverton, widow of Alfred “Bob” Paquette, died Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Somerset Ridge. Born in Warren, RI, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Roseanna (Laflamme) Dionne, she lived in Fall River, in Tiverton for 30 years, and in Pawtucket and Rumford, RI.
A member of the Textile Workers Union, she was employed by Pepperell and A and A manufacturing companies and enjoyed traveling, fishing and reading.
She leaves a sister, Eugenie Gossic of New Port Richey, FL and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfred, Gilbert and Leo Dionne and Alice Whitehead.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, September 13, at 11:30 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Michael Onorato


Michael E. Onorato, age 88, Formerly of G.A.R. Highway, Swansea, MA, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007 at Westborough Healthcare Center. He was the husband of the late Doris (Valois) Onorato. 
Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the son of the late Michael E. Onorato and Elvira (Pettine) Onorato. Mr. Onorato was self employed and worked as a painting contractor. He enjoyed gardening. Mr. Onorato served in the Army During WWII. 
Mr. Onorato is survived by one son, Michael R. Onorato of Bolton, MA; one daughter, Betty Thursby of Altoona, PA; one brother, Raymond Onorato of Portsmouth, RI; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Hector and Ernest Onorato and Yvonne Mayo and Ardelle Friedman. 
Mr. Onorato’s funeral service, which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 7: 45 AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME 615 Broadway Fall River, MA. Followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 in St. Dominic’s Church, G.A.R. Highway, Swansea, MA. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Sylvia Rodgers

FALL RIVER -— Sylvia (Martin) Rodgers, in her 87th year, a resident of Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center, 4901 No. Main St., Fall River, formerly of Kilburn St., wife of Manuel “Jim” Rodgers, died Monday at the center. Mr. & Mrs. Rodgers recently celebrated their 69th Wedding Annivers-ary. Born in and educated in Tiverton, RI, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Martin Carvalho and Cora Oliver, she resided in Fall River for most of her life. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker. She was a great swimmer and diver, something she continued to do into her early 80’s. 
Besides her husband of 69 years, she is survived by her four children, Nancy R. Johnson of Portsmouth, RI, Sylvia Beverly Fournier of Florida, Martin 
Rodgers of Tiverton and Warren Lee Rodgers of Fall River; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother and four sisters, all born and educated in Tiverton schools. 
The family is thankful to Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center, where she was lovingly cared for by the dedicated nurses and staff in the Sagamore Unit where Sylvia was a resident for the past four months. Rene Goyette

MSgt., Rene “Ace” Goyette, USAF (Ret.), 63, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Fall River, MA and Billerica, MA, husband of Monica L. (Allen) Goyette, died Friday, September 7, 2007. 
The son of the late Wilfred C. Goyette and Emma (Gagnon) Goyette Rancourt, and Vietnam Veteran, he served in the Air Force for 23 years and then was contract manager for Tishman Construction Corp., Boston and Las Vegas. He enjoyed bowling.
Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by daughters, Marcy Goyette and her husband John Dickensheets of Saline, Michigan and Stephanie Herlihy and her husband David of Billerica; grandchildren, Spencer Dickensheets and Collin, Bryce and Shane Herlihy; siblings, Robert Goyette and his wife Pauline of Lake Oswego, OR and Terry Rancourt and her partner Sue Sheppard of Swansea; step-siblings, Edward and Albert Rancourt of Clearwater, FL, Norman Rancourt of Manchester, CT, Laurent Rancourt of Little Compton, RI, Paul Rancourt of Conway, NC and Jeannette Wolf of Tampa, FL and aunts, uncles, a niece and a nephew. He was the stepbrother of the late Claire Torpey and Maurice, Robert and Leo Rancourt.
His funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
