Age: 81

SOUTHBRIDGE: Willard Thompson, 81, of Paige Hill Road, died Thursday, Sept. 6, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. 

Calling hours will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St.

Edward Jezerski
Died: Wednesday, September 05, 2007
Age: 78

WEBSTER — Edward Jezerski, 78, of 16 Victory Drive, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after a brief illness surrounded by his family. 

He leaves his wife of 55 years, Evelyn C. (Anderson) Jezerski; three children, James E. Jezerski and his wife Leanne of Dudley, Kathleen M. Blair and her husband Edward C. of Dudley, and Robert F. Jezerski and his wife Tracey of Dracut; four brothers, Alex Jezerski, Stanley Jezerski and John Jezerski, all of North Grosvenordale, Conn., and Anthony Jezerski of Webster; five sisters, Wanda Bonczek and Esther Rulli, both of North Grosvenordale, Conn., Sophie Stolarczyk of Webster, Stella Mroczek of Dudley, and Helen Jerominek of Sherborn; a granddaughter, Madelyn Jezerski; a step granddaughter, Julie St. Laurent; two step great-grandchildren, Jessica and Stefan; several nephews and nieces and many close friends. 

He was predeceased by his brother Frank Jezerski of Southbridge.

He was born and raised in North Grosvenordale, Conn., a son of Stanley and Catherine (Szulewski) Jezerski. He moved to Webster in 1952.

He attended Tourtellotte Memorial High School. 

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving on the USS O'Hare.

Mr. Jezerski was a lineman for Massachusetts Electric Company for 46 years, first in Webster and then in Worcester, retiring in 1991. In his retirement, he was happiest helping others with their electrical needs.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. 

Ed enjoyed his daily coffee with his many friends and will be sadly missed.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Harrington Memorial Hospital for all the comforting and excellent care he received there.

The funeral will be held Monday, Sept. 10, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. 

Calling hours will be held from 3 - 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home. The Webster-Dudley Veterans Council will provide the military honors. 

Flowers may be sent or donations may be made in his name to Saint Anne's Elementary School, 12 Day Street, PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818.
