Isabelle B. Grant
MENDON - Isabelle B. (Peters) Grant, 84, of Mendon, formerly of Milford, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Beaumont Nursing and Rehab. Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health.
She was the wife of James H. Grant, who died in 1990.
Born in Milford, daughter of the late Walter and Avis (Cross) Peters, she lived in Milford before moving to Mendon 57 years ago. She attended Milford public schools and graduated from Milford High School in 1941.
From 1977 to 1986, she served as an administration assistant in Southern Worcester Juvenile Probation District at Milford District Courthouse. Previously, she had been the secretary for the superintendent of schools for the Mendon-Upton Regional School District, from 1960 to 1964.
Mrs. Grant was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Milford and its T.E.C.W., the Hopedale Women's Golf League, and Worcester County Women's Golf Association.
She leaves a son, James H. Grant and his wife, Diane, of Mendon; three grandchildren, Shelley M. Grant of Dallas, Texas, Michael R. Grant of Belmont and Kevin M. Grant of Boston; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Madison Carter of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of Augusta D. Pease, who died in 1984.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m., from Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at Trinity Episcopal Church, 17 Congress St., with the Rev. William MacDonald MacMurray, rector, officiating.
Burial will follow in Swandale Cemetery, Hartford Avenue East in Mendon.
There are no visiting hours.

Dana L. Usher
MILFORD - Dana L. Usher, 57, of Milford, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, R.I., after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born in Milford, son of Mary L. (Van Alstine) Usher of Mendon and the late Charles Usher, he attended Hopedale public schools and graduated from Hopedale High School, Class of 1970.
Mr. Usher had been employed at Hopedale Community House for more than 20 years and was involved in many of the activities provided at the house.
A resident of Milford for most of his life, he was an avid fan of thoroughbred horse racing.
Besides his mother, he leaves three sisters, Tara McDonough and her husband, Jon, of Milford, Candace Usher of Milford, and Kim Greenberg and her husband, Alan, of Mendon; a brother, Keith Usher and his wife, Rachel, of Mendon; six nieces and nephews, Ashley, Lauren and Matthew McDonough of Milford, and Lindsey, Morgan and MacKenzie Greenberg of Mendon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In accordance with Mr. Usher's wishes, funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, with burial to follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery, Mendon Street (Rte. 16), Hopedale.
There are no visiting hours.

Adelard LeBlanc
FRANKLIN - Adelard LeBlanc, 88, of Franklin, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham.
He was the husband of Marion (Carpentier) LeBlanc, who died in 1994.

Mildred L. Mourey
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Mildred L. (Daddario) Mourey, 93, formerly of Franklin, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at Woodside Manor Nursing Home in Rochester, N.Y.
She was the wife of Henry A. Mourey, who died in 2000, to whom she was married for 55 years.
Born in Franklin, daughter of the late John and Annuncia (Cataldo) Daddario, she had lived most of her life in Franklin.
A homemaker, she had been a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Franklin.
She leaves a son, Thomas Mourey and his wife, Margaret, of Rochester and a daughter, Patricia Reynolds and her husband, Paul, of Hilton, N.Y.; her daughter-in-law, Jeanne Mourey of Franklin; her grandchildren, Devin, Jenna and Matthew Mourey; two stepgrandchildren; her brother-in-law, Victor Mourey; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Richard Mourey and sister of the late Joseph Daddario, Anna Whittaker, Marguerite Burgess and Amelia Vignone.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 8:15 a.m., from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 131 Main St., Franklin, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at St. Mary's Church in Franklin.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Dorothy J. Rainsford
BELLINGHAM - Dorothy J. Rainsford, 80, of Bellingham, formerly of Natick and Wellesley, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at the Geriatric Authority of Milford.
She was the wife of William Rainsford, who died in 1989.
A daughter of the late Johann and Stephanie Schlecht, she was raised in Wellesley, and was a graduate of Wellesley High School, Class of 1944. After graduation, she worked at the Army Labs in Natick.
In 1948 she married William Rainsford and they settled in Wellesley where they lived for the next 15 years. In the early 1960s, the Rainsfords moved to Natick to raise their five children.
After her children were grown, she embarked on a new career as a travel agent, indulging her love of travel and adventure. After the death of her husband, she moved to Bellingham to be closer to her children. She loved gardening and was known for her beautiful rose garden. She also loved to be by the water and take trips to the ocean.
She leaves her children, Edmund F. Rainsford and his wife, Rosemary, of Holliston, Ellen J. Hartnett and her husband, Robert, of Holliston, William J. Rainsford Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Holliston, Mary J. Rothberg and her husband, Allan, of Uxbridge, and Diane J. Miller of Bellingham; a brother, Walter J. Schlecht, and his wife, Martha, of Miami, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, Daniel, Keryn and Kevin Hartnett, Colleen, Claire and James Rainsford, William and Thomas Rainsford, Julie Fraher and Samantha and Daria Miller; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Hilda Grivois, Greta Gikis and Edna and Hans Schlecht.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, at noon, at St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills.
Visiting hours are today, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Henry J. Burke and Sons Funeral Home (www.henryburkefuneralhome.com), 56 Washington St. (Rte. 16), Wellesley Hills.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wellesley.
