Obituaries for Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 - Framingham, MA - The MetroWest Daily News: "FRAMINGHAM - Joanne (Pasteris) Allen, 79, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham."The funeral will take place Friday, Sept. 21, at 8 a.m., from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Avenue), Framingham, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at St. Stephen's Church, 221 Concord St. (Rte. 126), Framingham.
Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Framingham.
Visiting hours are today, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

DENNIS - James F. Callanan Jr., 69, of Dennis died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007.A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 22, at 9 a.m., at St. Pius X Church, South Yarmouth.
Burial will be in Dennis Village Cemetery.

FRAMINGHAM - Dorothy ``Dotty'' (Merriam) Derby, 87, died peacefully Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Countryside Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.The funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m., at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rte. 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Burial will follow in the Hall-Derby family lot in Lakeview Cemetery, Cochituate Village, Wayland.

DALLAS - Shane T. Kennedy, 51, of Dallas, formerly of Marlborough, died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas 

PEARL CITY, Hawaii - Joyce Umeno (Higa) Kingsbury, 67, a former longtime resident of Framingham, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at her home in Pearl City, Hawaii.The service will take place Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Mililani Mortuary in Mililani, Hawaii.

SUDBURY - Peter J. Rowan Jr., 67, of Sudbury, formerly of Dorchester, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007.
He was the husband of Catherine L. (Copson) Rowan.A funeral Mass will take place Saturday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Sudbury.
Burial will be private.
