Born on Oct. 11, 1939, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late William H.M. Drew and the late Mildred A. (Giles) Warren. She lived in Westfield for the past three years, coming from West Springfield and Springfield. She graduated from West Springfield High School and received her Bachelor of Arts from AIC in Springfield. She was the daughter of the late Ruth (Smith) Barre Murray and Bernard Murray and was born in Northampton on Dec. 6, 1949. Doris Ross ASHLAND - Doris S. Ross, of Ashfield, 91, formerly of Amherst and Methuen, died on Sept. 10 after a long illness."
