Joseph M. Celozzi

MILFORD - Joseph M. Celozzi, 73, of Milford, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at his home.
He was the husband of Virginia I. (Smith) Celozzi for 51 years.
Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Michael and Ella (Shusas) Celozzi and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1951, where he was a star athlete. He played semipro baseball in the Southern states.
Retiring in 1996 from the Coan Oil Co. in Natick, he was employed as a service technician. Previously, he was employed at the Milford Heating and Cooling Co. in Milford.
He was an active member of the Hoboken Citizen's Club and a social member of the Milford Italian Veterans.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Joseph K. Goodnow of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Michael H. Celozzi of Milford; one daughter, Suzanne A. Ratcliffe of Franklin, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Christopher Ratcliffe of Tempe, Ariz., Michelle Dowd of Franklin, Tenn., Michelle Creasia of Milford and John Markman and Lilly Goodnow, both of St. Petersburg; four great-grandchildren; and four nieces and one nephew.
He was the father of the late John and Frank Goodnow, and brother of the late Elaine V. Sayles.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m., at the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home (www.consigliruggeriofuneralhome.com), 46 Water St., Milford.
A graveside service will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery on Depot Street in Milford.
Visiting hours are today, from 5 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Bonnie J. Fleck
MAYNARD - Bonnie J. (Houle) Fleck, 52, of Maynard, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a long illness.
She was the wife of Robert W. Fleck Jr. and had been a resident of Maynard for 40 years.
She was born in Laconia, N.H., daughter of the late Raymond and Clemance (Caron) Houle.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Danielle Fleck of Florida, Lee-anne Fleck of Tennessee and Andrea Fleck of Maynard; three brothers, Parnell Houle of Maynard, Raymond Houle of New Hampshire and Armand Houle in Germany; a sister, Lorraine Houle of Connecticut; and two grandsons.
She was predeceased by a sister, Cleo Houle.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m., at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St., Maynard.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, Sept. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Araxie `Grace' LaGreca
MARLBOROUGH - Araxie (Seferian) ``Grace'' LaGreca, 90, of Marlborough, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, surrounded by her family at home after an illness.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough.

John P. Palmer
MAYNARD - John J. Palmer, 78, of Maynard, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at his home.
He was the husband for 44 years of Gail (Swett) Palmer, who died in June 2006.
Born in Indianapolis, Ind., he was the son of the late John ``Jack'' and Viola Palmer.
Mr. Palmer served honorably in the Navy for four years during the Korean War.
A resident of Maynard for 44 years, he was employed as the quality assurance manager at Carter Manufacturing in Bolton, where he worked for more than 20 years.
Mr. Palmer especially enjoyed boating with his family and time spent at the family camp in Northern Maine.
He leaves a daughter, Sandra Steigerwald and her husband, David, a son, John Palmer, and a granddaughter, Brianna Whitney, all of Maynard.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 10:30 a.m., at the Martin & Doran Funeral Home (www.thoughtfulguidance.com), 12 Lincoln St., Maynard.
Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Helen E. Therrien
HONOLULU - Helen E. (Spencer) Therrien, 74, of Honolulu, formerly of Hudson, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, in Honolulu.
She was the wife of Richard Therrien Sr. of Honolulu for 53 years.
Born in Hudson, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Caroline (Barker) Spencer, and a graduate of Hudson High School, Class of 1952.
She was a former employee of the Hawaiian Gold Chain Co., a manufacturer of gold chains.
Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Sherry Forleo, Sheila Therrien, Richard Therrien Jr. and Raymond Therrien, all of Millbury; her brother, Walter Spencer of Hudson; her sister, Irene Welton of Marlborough; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Harold Spencer and Shirley McCarthy.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home (www.tighehamilton.com.), 50 Central St., Hudson. The Rev. Cliff Davis of the Millbury Federated Church will lead the service.
Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Stow.
There are no calling hours.

Zellah B. Thompson
ASHLAND - Zellah B. (Stone) Thompson, 100, of Ashland, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, in Framingham.
She was the wife of Norman Thompson, who died in 1996.
Born in Ashland where she lived all her life, she was the daughter of the late George and Flora (Gordon) Stone.
A graduate of Ashland High School, she was a lifelong member of the Federated Church in Ashland and a 75-year member of Aurelia Rebekah Lodge 80 in Ashland.
She leaves three children, Lloyd A. Thompson of Missouri, Wayne G. Thompson of Vermont and Norma E. Russell of Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland.
