FALL RIVER — Elda (Hilda B.) (Terceiro) Margetta, 90, of Williams Street Fall River died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Mariano & Maria deTrindade (Viera) Terceiro. She was a homemaker. She had lived in Fall River most of her life. Mrs. Margetta is survived by her children, Donald J. Margetta of California, Robert J. Margetta of Fall River, Donna Fraser of Fall River, Beverly Fournier of Fall River and Barbara Miranda of New Bedford. She is also survived by two sisters, Laura Medeiros of Westport and Mary Jean Jones of Fall River, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Carl J. Margetta.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St Fall River. Burial will be private at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday morning from 8:30am – 9:30am. Olivia Rogers
Olivia (Medeiros) Rogers 78 of Florida and formerly of Fall River, Died on Friday. She was the wife of the late Paul Edward Rogers. She had resided in Florida for the past 4 years.
Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Mary (DeMello)and Manuel Lima Medeiros.
A Homemaker, she is survived by a son Jeffrey, a grandson Christopher and a sister Dolores along with nieces and nephews. She will especially be missed by those who were close to her in recent years. She was the mother of the late David Vilela.
Private Services were held and Arrangements were with the A.F. ALMEIDA & SON FUNERAL HOME 1309 Globe St, Fall River.
Adele Wisniewski
FALL RIVER—Adele (Zdabosz)Wisniewski, 92, of North Main Street, Fall River formerly of Kaufman Rd., Somerset, died Monday, August 13, 2007. She was the widow of Martin Wisniewski.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Walter and Louise (Drewniak) Zdabosz and had lived in Somerset since 1956 moving to Fall River in 2007.
She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Church where she was a member of their Seniors Club and Holy Rosary Society.
She was an insurance underwriter for Feitelberg Insurance retiring in 1976 after 24 years.
Mrs. Wisniewski was a member of the Somerset Senior Center, a graduate of St. Stanislaus School and the Thibideau Business School in 1932.
Survivors include a daughter Diana L. Violette of Cookevills, TN, a son Walter R. Wisniewski of Somerset, 3 sisters: Kay Pikul of Fall River, Joanna Para of East Greenwich, RI, and Stella Iwanski of Somerset, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 8AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland Street, Fall River. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Friday 5 – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 5001 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
