TIVERTON — George H. Means Jr., 78, of Russell Drive passed away Tuesday August 28, 2007 at Newport Hospital. He was born in Kansas City Missouri on January 3, 1929 the son of the late George H. Means Sr. and the late Jane (Gillett) Means. He attended the Missouri Military Academy, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, George is survived by his care givers and cousins John C. Gillett of Fall River, MA Norma Aballo and her companion George Parmenter of Tiverton, RI. In addition to his caregivers he is survived by many other cousins.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10am in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery Fall River. Michael A. Malenfant
Michael A. Malenfant, 54, of Fall River, died unexpectedly on Wednesday. Husband of Katherine (Melville) Malenfant. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Marilyn (Simons) Malenfant of Mt. Dora, FL and the late Albert Malenfant. He spent 20 years working as a salesman for Hetzler Contracting Co., and served in the Army National Guard. He belonged to the Fall River AMVETES, and was a devoted Red Sox Fan. Survivors include a son, Patrick Mulkern of Brockton, daughters, Christine Mulkern of Fall River and Lori Mulkern Shah of Newton Square, PA., sister, Mrs. Ronald (Joyce) Botelho of Mt. Dora, FL, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from the SILVA-FARIA Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., with his funeral mass to follow in Sts. Randy S. Dias 40 passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a motorcyle accident in Hollywood, Florida on August 26, 2007. He is survived by his wife Sheila Dias, his daughter Christy L. Vieira, his parents
Marianno “Biff” and Barbara Dias, his sister Cheryl L. (Dias) Dean and her husband Donald Dean Jr., his brother Wayne A. Dias and his wife Susan (Linhares) Dias.
