Daniel A. Baldwin
MENDON - Daniel Alexi Baldwin, 27, of Mendon, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007.
Son of Naomi Baldwin and Tom Grover of Mendon, he was born in Boston and attended Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, before transferring to Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School where he studied culinary arts.
He received his nursing assistant certification through the Red Cross and was working as a certified nursing assistant at several area nursing homes for the past year. He had plans to move to Arizona to continue his studies and become a registered nurse while his fiancee went to graduate school at the University of Arizona.
Mr. Baldwin enjoyed practicing yoga, skydiving and listening to the music of his fiancee, who played the French horn with the New England Symphony.
He will be missed by many loving family and friends. Remembering him reminds one of the quote, ``Well done, good and faithful servant.''
Besides his parents, he leaves his brothers and sisters, Damien Baldwin, Tess Baldwin Grover, Wesley Baldwin Grover, Thomas Grover and Jennifer Grover; his fiancee, Andrea Barbrie; and his grandparents, Wesley Baldwin Jr. and Barbara Baldwin.
A private viewing will be held at J.S. Waterman & Sons & Waring Funeral Home in Wellesley.

Helen G. Casavant
WORCESTER - Helen G. (Cleary) Casavant, 84, of Worcester, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at Westborough Health Care Center after a period of declining health.
She was the wife of Edward P. Casavant, who died in 1980.
Born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (McGrath) Cleary, she will be forever remembered as a fun and loving mother and wonderful nana.
She leaves three daughters, Linda A. Wakefield and her husband, Barry, of Worcester, Susan J. Weisman and her husband, Robert, of Ashland, and Judith H. Audette and her husband, Leo, of Rutland; five grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Wakefield, Heather and Nathan Audette, and Ross Weisman; a brother, Thomas J. Cleary of Worcester; and two sisters, Mary Keeney of Cape Cod and Alice Metros of Leominster.
She was the mother of Paul Casavant, who died in 1988, and sister of the late Kay Whalen, Elizabeth Lund, Joan Lucas, Mildred Cleary, and Gordon and Albert Cleary.
The funeral will take place Saturday, Aug. 18, from O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home (www.oconnorbrothers.com), 592 Park Ave., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m., at St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester.
Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
Visiting hours are today, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Linda M. Dallamora
FRAMINGHAM - Linda Murphy Dallamora, 65, of Framingham, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at her home.
Born and raised in Framingham, she was a a graduate of Framingham High School, Class of 1959, Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and Boston College. For many years, she was a dental hygienist with Dr. Joel Prives and, most recently, Dr. Kenneth Bachman.
She was past president of the Dental Hygienists Association and a longtime, active member of Forsyth Alumni Association.
A loving mother, grandmother and good friend to all, she especially enjoyed traveling.
She leaves three daughters and their husbands, Lauren D. and Scot Schneiderman of Framingham, Carolyn D. and Craig Celniker of Tokyo, Japan, and Jeanine D. and David Alpert, of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren, Ryann Celniker, Samantha, Jack and Chloe Schneiderman, and Mackenzie and Griffin Alpert; two aunts, Margaret Anderson and Mary Mooney; and her former husband, Kenneth G. Dallamora.
She was the niece of the late Ruth Williams and partner of the late Dr. Louis Calisti.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 10 a.m., at St. Stephen's Church, 251 Concord St., Framingham.
Private burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery at a later date.
Visiting hours are Monday, Aug. 20, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham.

Edimar Alves De Araujo
MILFORD - Edimar Alves De Araujo, 34, of Milford, formerly of Minas Gerais, Brazil, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

Henry Mariani
MEREDITH, N.H. - Henry Mariani, 41, of Meredith, N.H., died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at his home after being stricken ill.
Born in Concord, son of Nancy (Allen) Mariani of St. Johnsbury, Vt., and Fred Mariani of Marlborough, he worked as a restaurant manager for the Smoke House Grill in Weirs Beach, N.H.
He will be remembered as a friend to all.
Besides his parents, he leaves his stepmother, Susan Mariani of Marlborough; his daughter, Tammy Mariani of Shirley; a brother and sister-in-law, Jamie and Tracey Mariani of Charlestown; a sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Alex Hanks of Barre; a nephew, Cole Troisi of Barre; and a stepsister, Shelley Adams of Marlborough.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m., at the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net), 123 Main St., Westminster, Mass.

Francis J. McDevitt
FRAMINGHAM - Francis J. McDevitt, 70, a 65-year resident of Framingham, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at MetroWest Medical Center, surrounded by his family and close friends.
He was the husband of Jean (Morini) McDevitt for more than 40 years.
Born and raised in Boston, son of the late Frank and Ellen V. ``Nellie'' (Mitchell) McDevitt, he was a well known former Framingham teacher, coach and athlete.
A 1954 graduate of Framingham High School and 1958 graduate of Worcester State College, where he was co-captain of the basketball team, member of the baseball team and editor of the college newspaper, he taught at Woodward School in Southborough for four years. He spent the remainder of his 39-year teaching career in the Framingham public schools, where he was given the ``You Are Special'' award as outstanding teacher.
He was the Framingham North High School basketball coach for nine years and freshman football coach for Framingham South High School for several years. In addition, he was a lifeguard and playground director for the Framingham Recreation Department for many years.
A member of the Framingham Teachers Association and Massachusetts Teachers Association, he was a member of the Framingham Lodge of Elks BPOE 1264.
He will be remembered in Framingham for his talented basketball play as a member of the famous Shock Auto Body team. In recent years, he was devoted to his grandchildren and was involved in their many activities.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Christopher F. McDevitt of Framingham; a daughter, Pamela Sunderland and her husband, Robert, of Ashland; two brothers, James P. McDevitt and his wife, Marlene, of Falmouth and Kevin T. McDevitt of Cambridge; two sisters, Ellen V. Walker and her husband, James, of Ashland and Kate Wilde and her husband, Robert, of Tampa, Fla.; his grandchildren, Morgan and David Sunderland; three nieces and four nephews; and many cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m., at St. George's Church, 74 School St., Framingham (Saxonville).
Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
Visiting hours are today, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham.

Margaret R. Nelson
NATICK - Margaret R. (Harmison) Nelson, 92, of Natick, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick.
She was the wife of the late Robert M. Nelson.
Born and raised in Great Bend, Kan., she was a daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Buhrle) Harmison and had been a resident of Natick for the past 41 years, previously living in Chestnut Hill. Mrs. Nelson spent the summer months at her home in South Bristol, Maine.
Owning an old, large farm house in Natick, for many years she rented rooms to students at Babson College in Wellesley.
She was an avid Red Sox fan throughout her life, and enjoyed sewing and gardening.
She leaves four children, Roger K. Samson of Camden, Maine, James Nelson II of Hollywood, Calif., Nancy Chick of Norfolk and Robert M. Nelson of Quincy; five grandchildren, Bradford Samson, Geoffrey Jr., Jane and Andrew Chick, and Jennifer Alexandra Nelson; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew Houglin, and Chloe and Gavin Chick.
Burial is private.
