FRANKLIN - Linda N. (Bergeron) Tocci, 51, of Franklin, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Milford Regional Medical Center.
She was the wife of Gerard R. Tocci.
Born in Boston, she was a daughter of R. Roger and Margaret "Peg" (Leary) Bergeron of Pocasset. She was a resident of Franklin for the past 23 years and grew up in various parts of the world because her father was in the military. She graduated from Bourne High School and Becker College in Worcester with an associate's degree.
She was a recess aide at the Keller-Sullivan school in Franklin and also did clerical work at area medical offices. In the early 1980s, she did transcription work for the FBI in Washington, D.C., and later in Boston.
Besides her husband and parents, she leaves her children, Damien, Jared and Melony Tocci, all living at home; five sisters, Jane DeLue of Milford, N.H., Renee Coady of Plymouth, Alice Sullivan of Sayre, Pa., Judithanne Eldredge of Sagamore, and Emily Migliaccio of N. Falmouth; three brothers, Paul Bergeron of Carlisle, David Bergeron of Blackstone, and Christopher Bergeron of Pocasset; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 8:15 a.m. from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 131 Main St., Franklin, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, Church Square, Franklin.
Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

Charles E. Greenhalgh
UXBRIDGE - Charles E. Greenhalgh, 92, of Uxbridge, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Milford Regional Medical Center.
He was the husband of Pauline R. (Donald) Greenhalgh, and they had observed their 67th wedding anniversary in August of 2006.
He was a jeweler and co-owner of Carlson & Greenhalgh Jewelers in Worcester for 37 years before retiring in 1987.
Born in Concord, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Bathia (McKenzie) Greenhalgh Sr., and attended Uxbridge schools. He later attended the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence where he studied jewelry design.
A prisoner of war in Germany, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre, and was a technical sergeant, receiving the Purple Heart.
A member of Solomon's Temple Lodge AF & AM in Uxbridge, he was a 32nd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite.
Besides his wife, he leaves a brother Raymond J. Greenhalgh of Warwick, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, at noon, at the Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St. (Rte. 122) (www.bumafuneralhome.com), Uxbridge.
Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Mendon Street, Uxbridge.
Visiting hours are Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Helen B. Taylor
MENDON - Helen B. (DeVries) Taylor, 87, of Mendon, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge.
She was the wife of Joseph Taylor, who died in 2006.
Born in Northbridge, she was the daughter of the late Broer and Nessie (Yongsma) DeVries.
A lifelong resident of Mendon, Mrs. Taylor was an active member of the Mendon Unitarian Congregational Church of Mendon and the Mendon Festival Committee. She enjoyed quilting and knitted for the newborns at the MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
She enjoyed traveling.
She leaves two brothers, Herman DeVries of Mendon and Burton DeVries of Connecticut; a brother-in-law, Douglas Taylor of Mendon; two sisters-in-law, Lois Taylor of Mendon and Marion Taylor of Medway; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Paul DeVries.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m., at the Unitarian Congregational Church, 13 Maple St., Mendon.
Burial will be follow in Swan Dale Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Mendon.

Winifred G. Leahan
MILLIS - Winifred G. (Pollard) Leahan, 86, of Franklin, formerly of Millis, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, after a brief illness at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham.
She was the wife of the late Frank Leahan.
Born in North Adams, she was the daughter of the late Stanley B. and Ella Mae (Jones) Pollard, and was educated at North Adams High School with the Class of 1939. She continued her education at Hartford Hospital School of Nursing.
A former resident of Millis for more than 20 years, she also lived in Buzzards Bay, Norton and Plymouth. She had been employed by Drs. A.R. Stagg Sr. and Jr. in Medfield for many years, and was a former CCD teacher. She was forever available to people struggling with life.
She leaves seven children, Kathleen J. Tomkins of Redondo Beach, Calif., Kenneth L. Cushman Jr. of Medway, Kevin Cushman of Millis, Kerry E. Cushman and Keith J. Cushman, both of Key Largo, Fla., Karen M. Kosmenko of Wrentham, and Kristin Mae Cushman of Basalt, Colo; her sister, Marilyn Atwood of Arizona; and many grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Betty A. Cushman, Barbara Codman, Frederick J. Pollard, Lucy B. Bennett, Ruth Kerr and Stanley B. Pollard Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 27, at Noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 82 Exchange St., Millis.
Burial will be private.

Leonard K. Boyd
HOPEDALE - Leonard K. Boyd, 85, of Hopedale, died peacefully Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at Blaire House of Milford, surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Eva C. (DeVuyst) Boyd, and had observed their 61st wedding anniversary in March.
Born in Hull, he was the son of the late George W. and Rose (Damon) Boyd and had been a resident of Milford and Mendon before moving to Hopedale seven years ago. He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1941, and the Sylvania Technical School in Norwood.
He was employed as a pattern engineer at the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale for 37 years before his retirement in 1978. He was later employed at Raytheon Corp. in Waltham for eight years before retiring in 1987.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he served in the European-African Middle Eastern Theatre of Operations. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, American Theatre Campaign Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal. He was a member of the Roger L. Wood American Legion Post 355 of Mendon, the Milford DAV and Commanders Club.
He was also a member of the Hopedale Country Club for more than 25 years, and ran for the Mendon selectmen in the 1960s. He enjoyed going to Foxwoods.
Besides his wife, he leaves one daughter, Madeline M. Boyd of Milford; one sister-in-law, Alice Boyd of Blackstone; one granddaughter, Michelle Boyd Carco and her companion, Joseph Bonati, of Milford; two great-grandchildren, Sabrina Marie Ricci, and Alicia M. Ricci Carco, both of Milford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late George W. Boyd Jr., Marjorie Carlson and Pauline Hamperian.
A funeral service with full military honors will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m., at the Buma Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford. The Rev. Dorothy Asare, minister of the First United Methodist Church, Milford, will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Swan Dale Cemetery, Hartford Avenue East, Mendon.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Buma Sargeant Funeral Home.

Robert P. 'Rob' Coyne
FRANKLIN - Robert P. "Rob" Coyne, 50, of Franklin, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, upon arrival at Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born in Boston, he was the son of Isabel A. (Dunleavy) Coyne, and the late Howard W. Coyne Sr., and was a lifelong Franklin resident. He was educated in local schools and was a 1975 graduate of Franklin High School.
He worked as a carpenter for several area builders and contractors. He enjoyed reading and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was also a lifetime communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Besides his mother, he leaves a brother, Michael F. Coyne and his companion, Susan Patrie of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Elizabeth A. Bertoni of Franklin, Kathleen F. Varga and her husband, Dan, of Bellingham, Maureen E. Spencer and her husband, Gary, of Bellingham, and Monica A. Coyne and her fiance, Kevin Kenny, of Hopkinton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Howard W. Coyne Jr. and Patrick J. Coyne.
The funeral service will take place Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 10:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., Franklin, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square in Franklin.
Burial is private.

BELLINGHAM - Joseph A. Dupuis, 65, of Bellingham, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Milford Regional Medical Center.
He was the husband of Suzanne (Wilber) Dupuis for 29 years.

Grace F. Washburn
FRANKLIN - Grace V. (Flood) Washburn, 69, of Franklin, formerly of Avon, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at her home, after a brief illness.
She was the wife of George R. Washburn, for 49 years.
Born in Randolph, she grew up and attended school in Avon, graduating from Avon High School in 1956. She had lived in Franklin for many years.
She worked for many years as a supervisor for Thermo Environmental in Franklin.
She enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles.
Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter, Pamela Calloway of California; her siblings, Paul Flood and Ruth Given, both of Avon, Edna Moody of Hanover, Helen Kennedy of Maine, Alice McPhillips of Arizona; a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Robert, Howard and Frederick Flood.
A funeral service will take place Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 11:30 a.m., at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 So. Main St., Rte. 28, Randolph.
Burial is in Avon Cemetery.
Visiting hours are today, from 4 to 8 p.m, at the funeral home.
Morris
Milford - The funeral service for Sean M. Morris was held Saturday, Aug. 17, from the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Mary's Church, Milford, with the Rev. Daniel Mulcahy, pastor, serving as celebrant. Sister Theresa Lucier assisted upon the altar.
Harold and Joan Getz served as acolytes.
Judy Thomas, Josephine Guerino, and Donna Horrigan served as cantors and Tony Orifice served as organist.
The funeral pall was placed upon the casket by Dustin Morris, Steven Palumbo, Tim Murphy, Dustin Testa, Todd Testa, and Jason Tsolis.
The readings were offered by Jody Lawson and Angela Barnes.
Gift bearers included Robin Tsolis and Laura Krovocheck.
Casket bearers included Dustin Morris, Steven Palumbo, Tim Murphy, Dustin Testa, Todd Testa, and Michael Ruggiero who also all placed the pall upon the casket.
Words of remembrance, friendship, and love were offered by Todd Testa, Kristen Quattrochio, and Charles H. Morris, Jr.
Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford, with the Rev. Mulcahy offering committal prayers.
Morris, 38, of Milford, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at home.
Abretti
Milford - The funeral of Joseph V. "Lou" Abretti, was held Saturday, Aug. 18, from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael's Church in Mendon. The celebrant was the Rev. Thomas Mahoney, pastor.
The organist was Mary Mascilak, and the soloist was Carol Ann Mancini.
The lector was his son, Marc Abretti, and the gift bearer was his daughter, Roby Celeste Abretti.
Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery with committal prayers offered by the Rev. Mahoney in the Bertoni Chapel.
A U.S. Army Military Honors Detail was present at the cemetery, consisting of Master Sgt. Michael Gifford and Staff Sgt. Mayra O'Neill, from the 167th CSSB in Londonderry, N.H. Following the playing of "Taps," the American flag, which draped his casket, was presented to his wife, Mrs. Concetta Abretti, by Master Sgt. Michael Gifford.
Abretti, 82, of Mendon, died Wednesday, at the Blaire House of Milford, following a period of declining health.
