John Alashaian
FRANKLIN - John Alashaian, 71, of Franklin, died unexpectedly at his home, Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007.
Born in Franklin, a son of the late Senekerim and Anna (Ourfalian) Alashaian, he was raised and educated in Franklin, and was a lifelong town resident.
Disabled since birth, Mr. Alashaian was a well-known town resident. He could be seen every day sitting outside his home on Beaver Street at the intersection of Rte. 140, where he would wave to all who passed by, and would often engage in long conversations with everyone.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and often assisted with various fundraisers. He was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens and the American Association of Retired Persons.
He leaves a cousin, Avedis Alashaian and his wife, Rosemary, of Leonia, N.J.; his longtime care givers, James and Lynn Marchand of Franklin; and many neighbors, friends and church parishioners.
He was the brother of the late Sam Alashaian.
The funeral will be held Friday, Aug. 24, at 10:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home (franklinfuneral.com), with a funeral service in St. John's Episcopal Church, 237 Pleasant St., officiated by the Rev. John Potter, rector.
Burial will follow in Union Street Cemetery.
Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Terry Armitage
MEDWAY - Terry (Crisp) Armitage, 79, of Medway, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, in the Stanley Tippett Hospice in Needham following a long illness.
She was the wife of James H. Armitage.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Percy E. and Henrietta T. (Fregeau) Crisp, Mrs. Armitage lived in Medway for 32 years.
She was a cafeteria worker at the Duence International School in Holliston for five years before her retirement. She previously worked at the former Fernandes Market in Medway as a scanning coordinator for many years.
Mrs. Armitage was a member of the Medway Senior Citizens Association and was an avid maker of crafts and needlepoint. She was a member of the Linus Club, which makes blankets for sick children.
Besides her husband, she leaves her son, James W. Armitage and his wife, Pamela, of Holliston; her daughter, Mary Jo Yasutovich and her husband, Alan, of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Stacey, Rachael and Bradley.
She was the sister of the late Charles Crisp and Marie Kaligian.
The funeral service will be private with burial in Oakland Cemetery Medway.
There will be a memorial service at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, in St. Paul's Episcopal Church Millis.

Julia F. Donnelly
FRAMINGHAM - Julia F. (Carr) Donnelly, 90, a resident of Framingham since 1949, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham.
She was the wife of Edward ``Teddy'' Donnelly, who died in 1999.
Born in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Katie Carr. Mrs. Donnelly immigrated to Framingham in 1949. She attended Framingham State Teachers College.
She worked at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham as a nurse's aide for more than 20 years, before her retirement in 1981.
She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a former member of the Young at Heart at St. Bridget's Church in Framingham.
Mrs. Donnelly leaves three children, Mary C. Cheston and her husband, Richard, of Falls Church, Va., Michael T. Donnelly and his wife, Helen, of Framingham and Ted P. Donnelly and his wife, Lorna, of Franklin; six grandchildren, Julie Donnelly of Framingham, Matthew, Timothy and Andrew Cheston, all of Church Falls, and Jared and Jacob Donnelly of Franklin; and her sister, Rachel Mayberry of London.
She was the grandmother of the late Michael James Donnelly, and she was the sister of the late Annie E., Michael, Patrick and William Carr, Mary Carty and Lucinda Cronin.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, at 9:30 a.m., at the Chapel of St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham.
Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
A time of visitation will take place Saturday, Aug. 25, from 8:30 to 9:20 a.m., prior to the Mass in the chapel.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, Aug. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Avenue), Framingham.

Robert R. Pirelli
FRANKLIN - U.S. Army Special Forces Staff Sgt. Robert ``Rob'' Ryan Pirelli, 29, of Franklin, was killed in action in Iraq, Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007.
He was the son of Robert T. and Nancy M. (Sullivan) Pirelli of Franklin.
Born in Weymouth, he was a lifelong Franklin resident. Staff Sgt. Pirelli was a 1996 graduate of Franklin High School, where he was a member of the hockey team. He was a 2001 graduate of Northeastern University, with a degree in criminal justice.
He served in the U.S. Army for more than three years.
Staff Sgt. Pirelli loved to play ice and roller hockey, and he was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.
Besides his parents, he leaves his brother, Shawn E. Pirelli of Franklin; a sister, Stacey L. Pirelli of Franklin; his grandparents, Russell and Evelyn Sullivan of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 25, in St. Mary Church, Church Square, at 1 p.m.
Burial with full military honors will follow in the parish cemetery.

Stanislaw Sadowski
WEBSTER - Stanislaw Sadowski, 86, died Monday, Aug. 20, in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a brief illness.
He was the husband of JoAnn (Boulanger) Sadowski for 50 years.
He was born in Lublin, Poland, the son of Peter and Feliksa (Wajler) Sadowski. He studied in high school to be a tailor, but was sent to a labor camp in Germany for the duration of World War II. He immigrated to America in 1949. He became a U.S. citizen in the 1950s.
Mr. Sadowski was a weaver at Anglo Fabrics Company for many years before he retired in 1988.
He was a member of St. Joseph Basilica and the Polish National Alliance. He loved gardening, playing cards and dancing.
He leaves his daughter, Patricia J. Rosenthal of Milford; a sister, Kazimiera Zygmunt in Poland; a grandson, three granddaughters, and nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of Peter S. Sadowski, who died in 1993, and brother of Aniela Podolak, who died in 1996.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home (sitkowski-malboeuf.com), 340 School St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St.
Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace.

Kurt D. Vinacco
MILFORD - Kurt D. Vinacco, 50, of Milford, died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, on Block Island, R.I.
He was the husband of Christine J. (LeBrun) Vinacco.
A resident of Milford for the past four years, Mr. Vinacco worked for J.M. Construction in Medway as a construction supervisor.
Besides his wife, Mr. Vinacco leaves two daughters, Erika C. Vinacco of Milford and Erin Vinacco of Quincy; his parents, Domenic and Ursula (Kattner) Vinacco of Warwick, R.I.; two brothers, Richard Vinacco of Smithfield, R.I., and Karl Vinacco of Bolton; a sister, Audrey Kaplan of West Chester, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
